I am thinking of creating a Facebook group for Temasek Student Council!

We can then all contribute photos of events to this group and everybody can just grab, have meeting agendas, etc... How's that?

(This is an identical copy of the E-mail sent to all councillors.)

Here is the programme for the Student Council December camp on 10th to 12th December.

The list of things to bring is as followed:
1. 3 sets of clothes - Preferably 2 school based shirts and 1 black / dark coloured T-shirt
2. 3 sets of undergarments
3. Sandals / Slippers
4. 2 pairs of socks
5. Toiletries
6. Medication (if any)
7. Money (Exclusive of the $30 for camp)
8. Sleeping Bag (optional)
9. Water Bottle
10. Poncho / Umbrella (optional)
11. Torchlight (optional)
12. Sun block / Insect Repellent
13. EZ-link card
14. Stationery
15. A creative mind, helping hands and a caring heart!
16. Toaster or sandwich maker
17. Props for camp performance

* Note: List of items stated above is merely a guide. The toaster or sandwich maker stated above is for D.I.Y. breakfast on Day 3. Avoid bringing valuable items such as PSP, I-Pod, MP3, or large amounts of money.

Please come in proper, appropriate school attire. For example, no dyed hair, no painted nails, no coloured contact lens, no coloured undergarments.

Secondary 3 councillors, please take note that you will need to prepare a speech for presidency elections on Day 3.

SLC- Student Leaders' Convention 2008

"Back to Basics!"- The annual SLC will be held from 14-15th March 2008. This fun-filled convention will include discussions on topics that affect the world and us. On top of that, we will be expecting several VIPs such as the delegates from Cambodia.

Please be punctual for the event:
14 March - Meridian Junior College - 0800-2100hrs
15 March - Central Business District - 0800-1500hrs

Oh, and don't forget the writing materials, a bottle of water, change of clothes and your ez-link card.

This is a reminder to all councilors to report at 7.10 at the flagpole on 2nd January 08, Wednesday.
Remember to bring your council name tags. Also, make sure that your attire is proper on the first day of school.

Please take note that the attire for tomorrow is School Uniform (All guys to be in long pants) + School Tie + Blazer - for people doing registration + SCHOOL SHOES. Report at 7.15 am SHARP. Hope to see you there tomorrow!

It will be a 3 days 1 night camp for all councillors. For excos, it will be 3 days, 2 nights.

10 Dec 2007

Report in the needlework room at 8 am sharp. For excos, it will be 7.15 am. Please be in school t-shirt and sch skirt / pants., bring along an extra t-shirt too. Agenda: Admin work and games.

* Dear excos, for excos' night, please be in casual wear. *

11 Dec 2007

Report at 8 am in school. Agenda: External activity, ice skating, games, camp performance. As there will be ice skating, please be in your council t-shirt with jeans / pants, and bring along a jacket and gloves.

Job Well done!

It was a rather unprecedented one. Actual serious preparation begun only weeks before the actual event, but in the end, it pulled off well, and it was all that matters for all here at the council.

This year's decor was "brought to a higher level" from last year's, as said by Miss Lim Chek Quay, teacher in-charge, Student Council.

Adding to that, the praises of the council were sang by graduates, and several other teachers. One of which, Miss Rajah, went "Job well done, councillors".

Afterall, its a night the graduates would never forget.

"We make things a class above the rest!"
